Championing Local Businesses with Strategy, Photography and Content Creation.
Delivering a strategic campaign with photography, videography, and content creation to support Small Business Saturday across Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, and Arundel. In collaboration with Arun District Council, Seaglow helped maximise the initiative’s impact, driving awareness and lasting value for independent businesses and the local economy.
Engaging communities through multi-channel promotion
The campaign was designed to highlight the diversity of local businesses, including those beyond retail, by promoting their stories and contributions to the community. We partnered with key stakeholders, including Sussex by the Sea, Arun Business Partnership, town councils, and local organisations, to share the content widely. Social media campaigns were run across the main destination websites for Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, and Arundel, amplifying the reach through community sites and the businesses’ own channels.
Capturing the heart of Local Businesses
To mark 7th December, Small Business Saturday, we captured professional photography and created engaging video content featuring six bricks-and-mortar businesses from each town. Each town received a bespoke video showcasing its unique independent businesses, alongside a library of professional photos for use by the businesses themselves.
Empowering businesses with evergreen content
In addition to the campaign’s immediate impact, the businesses featured benefited from evergreen content - professional photos and videos - to support their ongoing marketing efforts. They were encouraged to connect directly with the Small Business Saturday initiative to access further support, such as training, free listings, and webinars.
At the conclusion of the campaign, all content was handed over to Arun District Council’s Economy Team and local partners, ensuring its availability for future promotional use. The campaign not only boosted awareness of Small Business Saturday but also fostered a sense of pride and connection within the local business community.
The results so far:
A dynamic and collaborative campaign that celebrated local businesses, enhanced their visibility, and left a lasting legacy for the Arun district.
